ANNUAL DOMESTIC VIOLENCE WALK/RALLY

WHEN: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 13, 2018 From 1:00 to 3:00pm

WHERE: Starting at the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office @ 1:00pm to the
Holmes County Courthouse

We will meet at the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office, then we will walk to the Holmes County Courthouse. After the walk, the rally will take place. Please mark your calendars with the date/time of our event.

*Event Purpose: To educate and bring awareness to the citizens of Holmes County and to reduce incidences of increasing violence inside homes, schools, and communities. While Women and Girls are the most vulnerable; suffering the highest rates of intimate partner violence; along with children who experience domestic violence that put them at higher risk for failure in school, it requires an entire community response.
